We have invited current Mini Kickers, Under 8s, Under 10s and Under 12s to take part in our Transitional Tournament, which will be held on Sunday 10th June at Washingborough Playing Fields (LN4 1AB).
Unlike other summer tournaments, our Transitional Tournament will feature 5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side and 11-a-side games. We believe the experience of playing a real format of the game should provide a fun and beneficial learning experience for teams who will be moving to these new formats at the start of the 2018/19 season.
Similar to the Mid Lincs League’s approach, the 5-a-side and 7-a-side leagues will be developmental, with no scores recorded and all players receiving a commemorative medal for taking part.
The 9-a-side and 11-a-side leagues will be competitive and as well as all players receiving a commemorative medal, the winning team will receive a trophy.
Spaces available for:
- 2017/18 Mini Kickers / Under 6s who will be playing in the 2018/19 Under 7s league
- 2017/18 Under 10s who will be moving to 9-a-side in the 2018/19 season
Extremely limited spaces available for:
- 2017/18 Under 8s who will be moving to 7-a-side in the 2018/19 season
All spaces taken for:
- 2017/18 Under 12s who will be moving to 11-a-side in the 2018/19 season
An entry fee of £30 will be charged to cover referees’ fees, trophies and medals.
