Thank you – Outgoing Secretary and Child Welfare Officer

Following the end of the season we would like thank Alistair Clarkson and Jon Somers-Wells who have now stepped down from their roles as club secretary and child welfare officer. Your invaluable time taken to make this club what it is today is appreciated by everyone associated at the club, thank you.

The secretary role at the club can be a demanding job and is crucial for many reasons including regular contact with the league and the link to relay important information to our coaches. The child welfare officer is also an important role at the club to make sure all coaches are fully compliant with safe guarding, first aid and CRC as well as being a contact if anyone has any welfare concerns that need addressing.

We are pleased to have two replacement volunteers for these roles. A warm welcome to our new secretary, Caz Batchelor and Child Welfare Officer, Annebelle Hughes.

We would also like to thank Graham Foottit for his short time as vice chairman, replaced by John Lines. Matt Hammerton will be continuing in his role as chairman.
